job description.My client is a high performing ISP entering Wave 2 of their network build. We have been asked to supply a bright, experienced, and driven Installation Control Administrator to support the Field Engineering workforce on the day of Customer Installations. Whilst reporting to the Field Operations Manager, the Installation Control Administrator will be able to manage their own workload, adapt to their environment and have a real 'can do' attitude.
This is a permanent role offering the following:
- £20,000 - £25,000 + Package (10% Bonus, Pension (3%), Private Healthcare, Death in Service, 23 days annual leave)
- Locations: Spalding, Lincolnshire
- A background in a telecom's environment would be beneficial but not essential.
- Must be confident on Microsoft Packages, especially Excel.

Key responsibilities include:
Key point of contact for Field Engineers and Field Supervisors
Deliver outstanding customer service to our customers (both internal and external)
Working closely with Customer Service and Network Operation Teams
Proactively update customers and engineers when issues are identified
Thorough attention to detail when verifying jobs throughout the working day
Ensure any engineer visits at risk are managed pro-actively through to an agreed resolution
Endeavour to backfill failed appointment on the day of install to maintain engineer utilisation
Call customers post visit to determine the level of customer service provided
Skills and Experience:
Candidates must be confident on Microsoft Packages, in particular Excel. A background in a telecom's environment would be beneficial but not essential
Candidates must possess the ability to communicate technical issues to a non-technical audience
Results driven, analytical and with a sensible approach to tasks.
Delivers targets on time – able to manage their own workload, identifies and takes remedial action if targets not being met.
Value to team – gets to know their colleagues, understands individuals and tolerant of differences, friendly and approachable, a real team player.
A great communicator who isn't afraid to raise concerns if issues arise.
Able to adapt to new environment and has a real 'can do' attitude.
