Our client is a forward thinking modular build main contractor, they specialise in the delivery of offsite projects across the UK. They are currently working on a number of a number of mixed use project and need an experienced QS to join them to deliver a projects across the UK based in York on a freelance basis.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Procurement of subcontractors and materials
- Liaising with client cost manager in order to agree pricing
- Working with the factory team in order to ensure timely project delivery
- When based on site overseeing payments
- Valuations & Variations
- Final accounts
- Chairing site meetings

Experience required:

- Quantity Surveying experience for main contractor
- To have worked on new build project work (ideally schools, not essential though)
- Ideally some knowledge of the modular sector
- Technical qualification in construction (HNC / BSc)
