The Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a high-value commercial office fit-out project in Slough.
This is a fast-paced £4m commercial office fit-out, requiring a hands-on Site Manager with a strong background in managing interior fit-out projects from site setup through to completion and handover.
Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site labour.
- Drive the programme and ensure works are delivered to agreed deadlines.
- Oversee quality, ensuring a high standard of finish throughout.
- Manage health and safety and maintain a safe working environment.
- Coordinate deliveries, logistics and materials.
- Work closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team.
- Chair site meetings and provide regular progress updates.
- Monitor progress against programme and identify potential delays.
- Manage snagging, commissioning support and final handover.
- Ensure all site records, permits and documentation are maintained.
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial office fit-out projects.
- Strong experience delivering CAT A and/or CAT B fit-out schemes.
- Experience managing projects of significant value.
- Strong subcontractor management and coordination skills.
- Excellent understanding of programme, quality and health & safety.
- SMSTS essential.
- First Aid preferred.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Available to commit to the full 18-week programme.
