Working Pattern: Day shifts
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a retail fit-out project in Banbury. This is a four-week contract starting on 26th October, ideal for someone with previous experience managing retail or commercial fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the site and coordinate subcontractors.
- Ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to the required standard.
- Monitor progress and manage site activities throughout the project.
- Maintain health and safety standards and ensure site documentation is kept up to date.
- Liaise with subcontractors and the wider project team to resolve any site issues.
- Ensure quality control and a smooth handover upon completion.
- Previous experience as a Site Manager on retail or commercial fit-out projects.
- Strong subcontractor management and site coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to manage site paperwork, progress reporting and quality checks.
- Relevant site management qualifications, including SMSTS and First Aid, preferred.
