BOOM! Another top Project Manager position from the Team at Build Space!We are on the on the hunt for a No.1 Project Manager to head up a £30m new build Industrial & Logistics project in Sheffield. Working for one of the hottest Main Contractors in the sector, this is a banger of an opportunity. We are looking for a highhly technical PM with excellent earthworks, groundworks, piling know how, this build has some complex aspects to it.
Project Manager roles & responsibilities:
- Leading the full project lifecycle on a £30m I&L scheme, from pre-start through to completion and handover
- Acting as the senior point of contact for the client, consultants and design team
- Building and leading the site team: Site Managers, Engineers and Package Managers
- Driving the programme, managing risk and keeping delivery on time and on budget
- Working closely with the commercial team on cost control, change and valuations
- Making sure health and safety, quality and environmental standards are met at every stage
- Proven track record as a Senior PM or Project Lead on new build schemes worth £15m to £30m or more
- Strong Industrial & Logistics experience, such as distribution centres, warehousing or large-span steel frame buildings
- Main contractor background, ideally with D&B experience
- Confident with clients, and someone who leads from the front on site
- Degree or HNC in a construction-related discipline, plus SMSTS and CSCS. CIOB or similar membership is desirable
- Based within commuting distance of Sheffield
