SITE MANAGER - ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE ESSENTIALLocation: Biggleswade
Contract: 4 weeks
Rate: £300-£325 per day

Start: Mid September
We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager with active SC Clearance to join a commercial office fit-out project in Biggleswade on a 4-week contract.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can take control of site operations and work effectively with subcontractors, trades and the wider project team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of the site and coordinate all site activities.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site labour.
- Ensure works are delivered in line with the programme and project requirements.
- Monitor workmanship, quality and progress across the project.
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and ensure site rules and RAMS are followed.
- Attend site meetings and provide regular updates on progress, issues and requirements.
- Liaise with the Project Manager and wider delivery team to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Identify and resolve site issues quickly and effectively.
- Maintain site records, inspections and relevant documentation.
- ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE - ESSENTIAL
- Proven experience working as a Site Manager.
- Strong background in commercial office fit-out / refurbishment.
- Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades.
- Good understanding of construction health & safety and site compliance.
- SMSTS and First Aid.
- Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.
- Able to commit to the full 4-week contract.
