Rate: £350 - £375 per day
Duration: Immediate start through to April 2027
Build Space is recruiting for an experienced Site Construction Manager to join a major theme park development project based in Chessington.
This exciting scheme involves the construction of a new Minecraft-themed roller coaster and immersive themed environment, forming part of a £50 million expansion project scheduled to open in 2027. The role offers the opportunity to work on a high-profile, technically challenging development within a live operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations and construction activities.
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure programme targets are achieved.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
- Oversee structural works, foundations and associated infrastructure packages.
- Liaise with project stakeholders, consultants and the wider delivery team.
- Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications.
- Proven experience as a Site Construction Manager on large-scale construction projects.
- Strong understanding of structural and civil construction works.
- Excellent subcontractor management and coordination skills.
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced and complex live-site environment.
- Competitive rate of £350 - £375 per day.
- Long-term project running until April 2027.
- Opportunity to work on a landmark visitor attraction project.
