Project Value: £300,000-£400,000
Start Date: Monday
Contract: 7 - 8 weeks
Rate: £250 per day
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to deliver a commercial office fit-out project in Ludgate Hill, London.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of the commercial office fit-out project.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and site operatives.
- Ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to specification.
- Manage site logistics, sequencing and short-term planning.
- Coordinate M&E and finishing trades throughout the project.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Review RAMS and ensure all site activities are carried out in accordance with them.
- Maintain site records, daily reports and relevant health & safety documentation.
- Liaise with the Project Manager, subcontractors, consultants and client representatives.
- Monitor progress and identify any potential programme or delivery issues.
- Ensure the site is kept clean, safe and well organised.
- Assist with snagging, handover and completion of the project.
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within commercial office fit-out/refurbishment.
- Experience delivering projects in the region of £300k-£400k.
- Strong knowledge of CAT A and/or CAT B office fit-out.
- Experience coordinating M&E, drylining, ceilings, flooring, finishes and associated trades.
- Strong subcontractor management and site coordination skills.
- Valid CSCS card.
- SMSTS.
- First Aid.
- Strong understanding of UK construction health & safety requirements.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Able to start Monday.
