Design Manager - £25m Distribution Centre
Location: Aylesbury
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + package

We're recruiting a Design Manager to support the delivery of a £25m Distribution Centre project based in Aylesbury. This role will suit an experienced Design Manager who enjoys coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring design information is delivered accurately, on time, and in line with technical and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate design information through pre-construction and construction stages.


• Chair design team meetings with consultants and subcontract designers.


• Manage design programmes, scopes, RFIs, and information release schedules.


• Ensure compliance with planning conditions, Building Control, and BREEAM requirements.


• Carry out technical reviews and support value engineering initiatives.


• Provide design input into procurement and support the wider project team.


• Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.

About You:

• Proven experience as a Design Manager within construction (industrial / distribution preferred).


• Strong understanding of the design process, compliance, and technical coordination.


• Organised, methodical, and confident managing multiple workstreams.


• Commercially aware with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
