The Role
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to take overall responsibility for the successful management and control of commercial office fit-out projects across London.
This is a project and client-facing position, with a strong focus on programme control, stakeholder management, reporting and ensuring projects are delivered against agreed objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for managing commercial office fit-out projects from pre-construction through to completion.
- Develop, manage and control project programmes.
- Lead client, consultant and stakeholder meetings.
- Coordinate the wider project team and ensure actions are driven through to completion.
- Monitor project progress, costs, risks and key deliverables.
- Manage project reporting and provide regular updates to senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the Construction Manager and site team to ensure the programme is being delivered.
- Manage changes, variations and project issues.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality.
- Drive successful completion, handover and close-out.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering commercial office fit-out projects.
- Strong CAT A / CAT B experience.
- Excellent programme and project control skills.
- Strong client and stakeholder management experience.
- Confident running project meetings and presenting project updates.
- Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to completion.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts and commercial management.
- Relevant construction qualification desirable.
- London commercial fit-out experience highly desirable.
