Our client, a global Commercial and Planning Consultancy head quartered in London, has asked us to supply them with a couple of top class Project Quantity Surveyors for a major utilities contract they have kicking off in Sydney, Australia. Experience with NEC4 contracts is essential. This exciting role will take you all the way down under to Sydney, Australia - all Flights, Accommodation and Visas will be paid for by the Client.  This is a 6 month contract with the potential to roll.Project Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:
- Ensuring actual costs are accurately monitored and assessed.
- Providing reports on actual costs vs. estimates.
- Identifying underlying reasons for any variance & resolutions, highlighting, challenging and resolving variance to latest plans
- Ensuring proper records are kept & maintained so that financial information for audits and cost assurance is readily available.
- Liaising with the Project team to ensure any Contractual notifications required are issued in accordance with the Contract.
Project Quantity Surveyor Experience required:
- Minimum 5 years post qualified experience
- Degree educated
- NEC4 Contract experience essential
- Excellent communication skills
