Site Engineer – LutonLocation: Luton, Bedfordshire – LU1 2LT
Contract Type: Fixed-Term / Project Contract
Duration: Approx. 12–18 months
Overview
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major industrial and logistics development in Luton. The role will support the site delivery team, ensuring accurate setting out, quality control, and coordination of construction activities while maintaining high health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out setting out and surveying for building works and external infrastructure.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Work closely with project managers, subcontractors and design teams.
- Ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications.
- Maintain site records and as-built documentation.
- Support site inspections, snagging and project handover.
- Assist in maintaining health and safety standards on site.

- Approximately 26,000m² of warehouse space across multiple units
- Designed for manufacturing, distribution and e-commerce occupiers
- Target completion: Q4 2026
- Experience working as a Site Engineer on industrial or commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of setting out equipment (Total Station / GPS).
- Experience with groundworks, drainage, steel frame or infrastructure works.
- CSCS card required (SMSTS/SSSTS desirable).
