Modular Residential Development

Our client, a multi award winning Modular Build Main Contractor, has asked us to supply them with driven and technically capable Assistant Site Manager to help drive a Residential development they have kicking off in Thurrock.
We are looking for a bright, ambitious construction professional who is looking to develop their career with a business in hyper growth mode. A super exciting role with one of the biggest names in MMC (Modern Methods of Construction).
The Role
Working closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager, the Assistant Site Manager will support the day-to-day running of the construction sites, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme.
You will gain exposure to modular installation, fast track finishing works and residential delivery, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to accelerate their career.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the daily management of site operations
- Supporting programme coordination and delivery
- Managing subcontractors and labour on site
- Ensuring health & safety compliance
- Monitoring quality control and snagging
- Supporting site reporting and documentation
- Coordinating deliveries and site logistics
- Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers
- Supporting handover and completion stages
Candidate Requirements
- Experience working within construction site teams
- Previous experience as:
- Assistant Site Manager
- Site Supervisor
- Finishing Manager (Junior)
- Strong IT and computer literacy
- Good technical understanding of construction processes
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Energetic, proactive, and career-driven
- Strong communication and coordination skills
Desirable
- Residential construction experience
- Exposure to Modular or Offsite construction (desirable)
- SMSTS / SSSTS
- CSCS Card
- First Aid
